Cumberland Gap Highland Games
TBA. Harrogate, TN. Due to the overwhelming number of other fall festivals in the Cumberland Gap area, CGHG is now a Spring Festival in conjunction with the Tri-State Youth Choir Festival. The CGHG is an invitational professional and amateur Scottish heavy athletics competition. An open amateur competition is also held.

North Texas Irish Festival
February 29-March 2, 2008. Dallas, TX. Texas State Fairgrounds. One of the largest Celtic music festivals in the Southwest. Approx. 40,000 in attendance for 2-1/2 days. Numerous clan tents, Scottish Village. This is an indoor event held in two of the large exhibition buildings, so weather is not a factor. Organised by Southwest Celtic Music Assoc.
